ABSTRACT: Over the past three years Texas A&M has made a strong commitment to enhancing visualization and high performance computing at its main campus. The design of Texas A&M's Immersive Visualization Center was a first at the time of its installation, and in the past year the University has acquired an IBM p5 supercomputer. An overview of the current status of visualization and high performance computing at Texas A&M will be presented and some options for collaborative efforts with TAMUQ will be suggested.
